Samuel Briles

Mr. Charles Samuel Briles, 63, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, November 16, 2013, at his residence. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Randolph Memorial Park with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Briles was born July 15, 1950. He had worked at Black & Decker and Oliver Rubber. Mr. Briles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dalton Briles. Mr. Briles is survived by his daughter, Leanna Giles and husband, Bob, of Burlington, NC; mother, Ruth Gallimore Tedder, of Asheboro; sister, Bonnie Blue and husband, Leighton, of Fayetteville, NC; granddaughter, Mary Chandler Giles; one niece and one nephew. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 152 Anchor Drive, Asheboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Lions Club International Foundation, Department 4547, Carol Stream, IL, 60122-4547.
