Ruth Inman Mcelreath

Ruth Inman McElreath, 88, of Archdale, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at North Pointe Assisted Living Center in Archdale. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rodney Otwell and Rev. Larry McElreath officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. The service will be livestreamed at Ridge Funeral Home's official Facebook page. Ruth was born on October 29, 1932, in Surry Co., to the late Ira Inman, and Hessie Bennett Inman. She retired from Harris Teeter, and was a member of Rushwood Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Buddy McElreath; sisters, Lottie Stevenson, Betty Johnson; and brother, Bobby Inman. Surviving are her sons, Rev. Larry McElreath and wife Tammy of Charlotte, Ricky McElreath and wife Lori of Asheboro; sisters, Doris Frazier of High Point, Frances King of Archdale; brother, John Inman of Randleman; grandchildren, Thadd McElreath and wife Jamie, Beau McElreath and wife Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Jude McElreath, Meryl McElreath, Weston McElreath, Anna McElreath. Friends may pay their respects from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service.
