Ruth Lineberry

Ruth Elizabeth Goins Lineberry, 84, of Asheboro, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Auler officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born March 9, 1933 in Stokes County, Mrs. Lineberry was the daughter of the late Charlie and Cora Goins. She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Clifford Lineberry; brother, Dallas Goins; and sister, Myrtle Smith. Survivors include her brothers, Elmer Goins and wife, Pearl, Edgar Goins and wife, Geneva, and J.K. Goins, all of Asheboro; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Wednesday at Ridge Funeral Home, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
