Ruth Ann Kearns

Ruth Ann Kearns, 53, of Seagrove, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Joel Angel officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Ruth Ann was born in Randolph County, NC on April 16, 1964. She attended Southwestern Randolph High School. She loved boating and going to the lake and beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ray Kearns, brother, Billy Ray Kearns and stepfather, David Rickey Adams. Surviving are her wife, Dawna Kearns of the home, sons, Bryan David Kearns and wife, Holly of Thomasville, Derek Ray Kearns and wife, Shelby of Eaton Rapids, MI, Tristan Hall of Seagrove; mother, Ruth Lineberry Adams, of the home; sisters, Tammy Kearns of Seagrove, Tammy Pugh of Sophia, Dawn Ponce of Dallas, TX, Kim Vergara of Mexico; grandson, Bryson Kearns; and "adopted son" Jason Stacey, of the home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
