Ruth Scott Brower

Ruth Scott Siegfried Brower, 73, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Mr. Hoy Yarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Ruth Scott Siegfried Brower was born February 13, 1942 to the late Eugene Paul and Myrtle Brown Scott. She had worked at Jockey International and Bossong Hosiery while raising seven children. She devoted her life to her kids. They always came first. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brower was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Michelle McDougall; her sister, Joann Scott Calicutt; and her brother, James Scott Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Douglas Wayne Brower, and son, Douglas Tyler Brower, both of the home; four daughters, Lisa Marie Ross, Denise Ross Dyles and husband, Randy, Kimberly Siegfried Jarrell and husband, Stevie, Danielle Siegfried Allred and husband, Scott; son, Gregory Allen Ross and wife, Anita; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
