Ruby Thompson

Ruby Alice Lowe Thompson, 76, of Pleasant Garden, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 5, 2018, at Thompson Family Cemetery in Pleasant Garden with Rev. Buford Smith officiating. Born May 22, 1941 in Randolph County, Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ella Mae Lowe. She graduated from Asheboro High School and retired from Acme-McCrary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Glenn Thompson; and great-grandson, Noah Robbins. Survivors include her husband, Howard "Butch" Thompson of the home; daughter, Lisa Saylor of the home; grandchildren, Mickey, Angela, Crystal, Ashley and Bryan; and 11 great-grandchildren.
