Ruby Jean Luther

Ruby Jean Luther, 91, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Alpine Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2022, at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro, with Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Born on January 12, 1931, in Randolph county, Ruby Jean was the daughter of the late William Rufus Luther and Fleta Alice Lucas Luther. Ruby Jean was retired from Acme-McCrary Corp. and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She acted as a mother and grandmother to her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, Ruby Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, Wade, Howard and Albert Luther; and sisters, Mamie Luther and Nellie Miller.
