Roy Frank Williamson

Roy Frank Williamson, 81, of Seagrove, died Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Randolph Health in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Seagrove, with Dr. Ron Chaney officiating, with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Roy was born on June 12, 1938 in Randolph Co. He had retired from Kayser-Roth and attended Union Grove Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and spent most of his three year tour in France. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Frank Williamson and Mary Alice Reeder Williamson; and siblings, Nonnie Moore, Herman Williamson, Bertha Chrisco, Margaret McKay, and Archie Williamson. Surviving are his sister, Ruby Jane Needham of Asheboro; brother, Coy Lee Williamson of Columbia, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the church following the service.
