Roy Lautenschleger

Roy Lautenschleger, 77, of Seagrove, North Carolina, departed from this world peacefully and rejoined with his wife, Donna, of 58 years, on the morning of Friday, January 9, 2026.

Mr. Lautenschleger was born on August 10, 1948, in Muskegon, Michigan.

Mr. Lautenschleger is survived by his three children, Jason Lautenschleger of the home, Kathy L. Graham (Gregory Graham) of New Bern, Barbara Johnson (James Johnson, Jr.) of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson, Amanda Brady, Jennifer Graham, Kristen Graham, Steve Graham; great grandchildren, Maddie, Cayden, Camden, Abbey, E.J., Victoria; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by wife, Donna Kay Lautenschleger; his mother, Lillian Barnes Lautenschleger Pierce; father, Harry Lautenschleger; sister, Betty Lou Thomas; brother, Jerry Lautenschleger.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Ridge Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends following the burial at the family home.
