Roscoe E. Brown

Mr. Roscoe Eugene Brown, Jr., 88, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, June 6, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, June 10, 2011, at Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Carthage, with Charles T. Reeder officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Richmond County, NC, Mr. Brown was born April 1, 1923. He was the son of the late Roscoe Eugene Brown and Mary Nall Brown. He was a retired car salesman and he was a member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Brown served in the US Army 86th Blackhawks Divison during World War II. The family will be at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
