Rosalind Hammonds Jones

Mrs. Rosalind Renea Hammonds Jones, 51, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at her home. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. She was born in Cabarrus County, NC, on March 13, 1963. She had a green thumb and she loved her family and grandchildren. She also had a special love for animals. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Larry Jones, of the home; son, Derek McKee and wife, Gina, of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Nicole Wilson and husband, Brett, of Augusta, GA; stepson, Lawrence Jones, of Asheboro, NC; parents, Bob and Nancy Hammonds, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Rob Hammonds and wife, Amber, of Redding, CA, Ryan Hammonds and wife, Anne, of Asheville, NC; and grandsons, Colton McKee and Tate McKee both of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home.
