Rosa Hurley

Rosa Mae Hurley, 68, of Star, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Born December 6, 1947 in Montgomery County, Mrs. Hurley was the daughter of the late Willis and Mary Morris. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Star. Mrs. Hurley loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Willie Howard Hurley. Mrs. Hurley is survived by her daughters, Brenda Kay Hurley of the home, Linda Hurley Carter of Mt. Olive, Delta Dawn East and John Greer of the home; sister, Darlene Smith of Kernersville; grandchildren, Katera Rose Hazelwood, Patches Danielle Hazelwood and Derek Michael Greer.
