Ronnie D. Stout

Ronnie Dean Stout, 56, of Asheboro, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Faron Overton officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Spring Friends Meeting Cemetery. A native of Chatham County, Mr. Stout was born June 17, 1959 to the late Elbert and Eula Mae Stout. He graduated from Jordan Matthews High School in 1977. Mr. Stout had worked for Pilgrim Pride and as a security guard for Randolph Hospital. He attended Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary, Howard and Jimmy Stout. Mr. Stout is survived by his wife, Clara "Jeannie" Stout of the home; stepsons, Rodney Freeman and wife, Tiffany, Randy Freeman and wife, Chelsee, all of Asheboro; sister, Peggy Stout of Hickory; brothers, Roy Stout and wife, Faye Dean of Siler City, Boyd Stout and wife, Sheila of Staley; grandchildren, Ashley Freeman, Angel Leach, Destynee Freeman, Rodney Freeman, Jr., Ricky Freeman, Avery Freeman; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Rodney and Tiffany Freeman, 1813 Garren Town Rd., Asheboro.
