Ronald Holloway

Ronald Earl Holloway, 68, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, May 8, 2026 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

Military honors will be provided at the Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.

Born in Norfolk, VA, on December 27, 1957, Mr. Holloway was the son of the late Milton Holloway and Margaret Gaye Holloway. Mr. Holloway was a huge sports fan enthusiast and an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts. He never met a stranger and had a tremendous amount of friends, but his family was the most important. Being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather made his life worthwhile. Mr. Holloway proudly served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his brother, Milton "Biggie" Holloway, sisters, Margaret Mayes and Dorothy Holloway, and brother, Mork Holloway.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Yolanda Holloway of the home: daughters, Shanina Coles, of Philadelphia, PA, Jasmine Geraldo of Greensboro, Sherise Maelynn Holloway, of the home; sister, Joyce Young, of Norfolk, VA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he will always love and remember.
