Ronald Hinson

Ronald Earl Hinson, 53, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tilman Hinson officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born August 12, 1962 in Cumberland County, Mr. Hinson was the son of the late Robert Edward and Rosia Porter Hinson. He worked as an officer for the NC Department of Public Safety for 16 years and was a maintenance supervisor for Franklin Village MHP Community for seven years. Mr. Hinson was a weapons marksman and he enjoyed fishing, karate and martial arts. He was a Deacon at WSTJ/Patricia Wiseman Ministries. Mr. Hinson loved all his family. Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Lisa Wiseman Hinson of the home; daughters, Angel Clark and husband, George, of Franklinville, Amanda Hanks and husband, Jerry, of Reidsville, Patricia Makayla Hinson of the home; twin brother, Robert Shirle Hinson and wife, Jackie, of Ramseur; half-brothers, Robert Leroy Hinson of Ramseur and Tilman Hinson of Star; half-sisters, Edna Rae Freeman of Lumberton, Linda Matney of Randleman, Glenda Hughes of Liberty, Brenda Pittman of Holden Beach; grandchildren, Mariah Greene, Caleb Greene, Bryson Welch, Dakota Welch, Lily Clark, Jaxson Clark, Nevaeh Hinson and Greyson Hanks. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at 2307 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC at the Franklin Village Community Clubhouse.
