Robin Luke Caviness

Mr. Robin Luke Caviness, 50, of Sophia, NC, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Caviness was born April 30, 1960. He was the son of Joe and Vona Hoover Caviness, of Seagrove. He was the owner of Precision Heating & Air, was an avid hunter, craftsman and gunsmith. He enjoyed photography and making Native American jewelry. Mr. Caviness, in addition to his parents, is survived by his sons, Luke Caviness and wife, Brandy, Dale Caviness and companion, Jennifer, all of Asheboro; sisters, Rhonda Trollinger and husband, Scott, of Greensboro, NC, Joy McNeill and husband, David, of Seagrove, NC; grandchildren, Haley Scott, Kayla Caviness, Summer Cranford, Avery Caviness, Haven Caviness, Devon Caviness, Parker Caviness, Paydon Caviness, Miley Caviness and Braxton Caviness. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of his parents, 4590 Sadie Road, Seagrove, NC.
