Robert Ferree Trogdon

Robert "Bob" Ferree Trogdon, Jr., 82, of Coleridge, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Concord United Methodist Church, Coleridge, with Rev. Samuel Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Trogdon was a native of Randolph County, NC and a retired farmer. He enjoyed bird hunting, being outdoors and listening to bluegrass music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ferree Trogdon and Mary Luellen Cox Trogdon. Surviving are his wife, Virgie Kidd Trogdon of the home; daughter, Dawn Trogdon Elliott and husband, Larry of Coleridge; sons, Michael Trogdon of Asheboro, Robert Trogdon and wife, Sara Kosiba of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; sister, Mary Lois McMasters of Staley; grandchildren, Walker Elliott of Coleridge, Liza Elliott Crabtree and husband, Corey of Robbins. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, and other times at the home of Dawn and Larry Elliott.
