Robert Lambeth

Robert Lee "Bobby" Lambeth, Jr., 62, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Steve Phillipi officiating. Burial will follow at Thomasville City Cemetery. Mr. Lambeth was born in Davidson Co., NC, on October 25, 1957. He was the owner and operator of Bob's Lawn Care. He loved motocross, whether riding or watching his nephews race, and was an avid golfer, playing in the Asheboro City Amateur Tournament multiple times. He loved UNC basketball and saltwater fishing, especially for king mackerel. Bobby was fondly referred to as "Uncle Aggravator" by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Lambeth was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Lambeth. Bobby was a devoted father to his surviving children, Meleah Lambeth and Will Lambeth. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth "Betsey" Perchan Lambeth, of Badin Lake; sisters, Roseanne L. Harvey and husband Richard of Elkins, WV, Mary L. Hutchinson of Poplarville, MS, Ellen L. Williams and husband Gary of Ramseur, NC; brother, David Lambeth and wife Rebecca of Asheboro; grandchildren, Zyler Lambeth, Weston Lambeth; and his dog, "Lulu". The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Saturday, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service.
