Mr. Robert Lee Hill, 70, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, September 2, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Harrison, Rev. Claude Harrison and Rev. J. T. Byerly officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hill was born May 9, 1942. He was the son of Euvenia Clara Kindley Hill and the late Thomas Gilbert Hill. He worked at Acme-McCrary Corp. In addition to his father, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Hill. Mr. Hill, in addition to his mother, is survived by his sons, Duane Hill, Dwight Hill and wife, Kim, Robert Hill, wife Hillary, all of Asheboro; daughters, Rebecca Scott, of Germany, Jennifer Banfield, of California; sisters, Amelia Hill, Charlene Jarrell and husband, Donnie, all of Asheboro; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
