Rita King

Rita Ann Johnston King, 74, of Pleasant Garden, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Born December 26, 1941 in Yonkers, NY, Mrs. King was the daughter of the late Thomas and Flora Johnston. She worked at Foster Forbes for 18 years and was a member of White's Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Davis and husband, Scott, of Pleasant Garden; son, Kip King of Tampa, FL; sisters, Joan Aufiero of White Plains, NY, Fran DeAddio of Yonkers, NY; grandchildren, Matt King of Asheboro, Scott Davis of Pleasant Garden, Nathan Davis of Pleasant Garden, Stacey Applewhite Anders and husband, Kenny, of Bennett, Casey Applewhite of Raleigh; and great-grandsons, Kayden Baker of Antioch, TN and Cane Anders of Bennett.
