Rickey Woodell

Rickey Woodell, 62, of Asheboro, died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Autumn Care in Biscoe. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Panther Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Huttleston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born July 30, 1953 in Randolph County, Mr. Woodell was the son of the late Ted and Esther Woodell. He was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church and had worked at BB Walker Shoe Company for 28 years. Mr. Woodell loved fishing, hunting and mowing his yard. He is survived by his wife, Helen Woodell of the home; daughter, Rosemary Williams and husband, Junior of Seagrove; sons, Bruce Lineberry and wife, Debbie of Asheboro, Rickey Woodell, Jr. and wife, Patty of East Bend; brother, Tommy Woodell and wife, Joyce of Robbins; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
