Rhonda Odom

Rhonda Gaye Overman Odom, 66, of Asheboro, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Pleasant Cross Christian Church, Asheboro, with Pastor Jeff Maness officiating. A private burial will be held in the church cemetery.

A native of Tarpon Springs, FL, Rhonda was born on February 24, 1959, the daughter of the late Wayne Overman and Mary Casstevens Scott. She was a graduate of Asheboro High School. Rhonda was formerly employed with Centel Telephone and Arrow International. She enjoyed working in her flowers and loved all of her animals. Rhonda was especially proud of her grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Odom of the home; son, Brian Moss and wife Karen of Asheboro; brother, Wayne Overman and wife Dawn of Asheboro; grandsons, Will Moss and wife Tori, Troy Moss; niece and nephew, Allison Arey and husband, J.D. and Taylor Overman.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
