Rhena Kay Rettinger Glenn, 65, of Asheboro, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randleman, NC, with Rev. Joel Bartz officiating. Born in Cumberland Co., NC, on July 17, 1955, Mrs. Glenn was the daughter of the late Roy and Wileen Rettinger. Rhena loved Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and the community she had there. Rhena dedicated much of her time to the church as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, and helping organize various events. Rhena’s simple pleasure was cooking and when she was not cooking, she was watching Food Network and HGTV. Rhena also shared her love with her three granddaughters. She would often reminisce on the Disney and beach vacations her and David took the girls on. Her infectious laugh and bright smile will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, William David Glenn of the home; daughter, Nikki Callicutt and husband Jeff of Findlay, OH; sisters, Nina Coughlin and husband Mike of Greensboro, Teresa Rettinger of Concord; grandchildren, Lauren Callicutt, Taylor Callicutt, Kathyryn Callicutt; nephews, Andy Coughlin, Daniel Coughlin, Chris Coughlin; father in law and mother in law, Bill and Sue Glenn; and sister in law, Starla Glenn. Memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, 119 West River Drive, Randleman, NC 27317.
