Reva Priest

Reva Joyce Edwards Priest, 74, of Martinsville, VA, formerly of Asheboro, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Randolph Memorial Park with Chaplain Barry Webster officiating. Born August 10, 1943 in Culpeper County, VA, Mrs. Priest was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucille Edwards. She retired from Lowes Food in Asheboro. Mrs. Priest loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Priest, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Frances "Sissy" Wingfield of the home; sons, Wayne Wingfield, Jr. of Martinsville, VA, Mike Kennedy and wife, Tammy of Asheboro; stepdaughters, Tammy Martin of Henry, VA, Penny Priest of Maryland; stepsons, Thomas Priest, Jr. of Henry, VA, Ray Priest of Norfolk, VA; brother, Earl Edwards of Culpeper, VA; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Mike Kennedy.
