Reginald Rose

Mr. Alfred Reginald Rose, 77, of 1775 Good Luck Road, died Monday, November 1, 2010, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Fonner and Hoyt Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Russell's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Rose was born July 26, 1933. He was the son of the late Coy Grover Rose and Stella Gladys Hare Rose. He was retired from the North Carolina Dept. of Transportation and had attended Russell's Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, NASCAR and cowboy movies. Mr. Rose is survived by his sons, Dewayne Rose, of Asheboro, Jay Allred, the home; fiancée, Judy Roberts, of the home; sister, brothers, Blythe Lee Rose, of Moncure, NC, Harvey Rose, of Simi Valley, CA; Ruth Rose Hunter, of Riverside, CA; aunts, Mamie Hare of Seagrove, Nonnie Beane, of Franklinville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
