Anglo Austin "Red" Cagle, 73, of Asheboro, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Troy, with Rev. Bo. Wansley officiating. Mr. Red Cagle was born September 3, 1941 in Montgomery County to the late Perry Lee and Margaret Hurley Cagle. He worked as a logger and loved nature, animals, flowers and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James Cagle, Reo Cagle, Dewey Cagle; one sister, Patricia Gallimore; two grandsons, Ethan Craven, Tex Poole; and the love of his life, Ruby Andrews Cagle. Mr. Cagle is survived by two sons, Perry Lee Cagle of Asheboro, John Gaston Cagle of Asheboro; five daughters, Cynthia Genito of Biscoe, Donna Davis of Climax, Sherrill Conner of Asheboro, Jessica Poole of Asheboro, Rosa Craven of Candor; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Connie and Bertha Millikan.
