Mr. Ray Wandrel Langley, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, October 26, 2012, at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Dale Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Martinsville, VA, Mr. Langley was born November 13, 1930. He was the son of the late Roy Langley and Minnie Claybrook Langley. Mr. Langley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a retired electrician and was the owner of Langley Electric. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Ray Langley; brothers, Jimmy Langley, and Robert Langley; and sister, Virginia Callicutt. Mr. Langley served in the US Army during Korean War. Mr. Langley is survived by his wife, Dorine Brinkley Langley, of the home; daughter, Lisa Langley, of Asheboro; sisters, Peggy Saunders and husband, Frank, of Asheboro, Pat Thomas and husband, Garrett, of Asheboro, Donna Jones and husband, Garrett, of Asheboro, Minnie Callicutt and husband, Bill, of Troy; brothers, James Langley, of Charlotte, Jack Langley and wife, Betty, of Greensboro, Larry Langley and wife, Marie, of Asheboro, Wayne Langley and wife, Brenda, of Asheboro, Jerry Langley and wife, Roxanne, of Asheboro; and special niece, Diane Simmons and husband, Charles, of Asheboro.
