Ramon Junior Lawson

Ramon Junior Lawson, 50, of Randleman, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 12, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Reeder officiating. Born on December 28, 1964, in Randolph County, NC, Mr. Lawson was the son of the late Grover Lee Lawson and Gladys Mae Williams Lawson. He was a carpenter and a Christian. Mr. Lawson enjoyed building birdhouses, doing yard work, gardening, fishing, hiking and traveling to the mountains and beach. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his brothers, Carlos Ray Lawson and William Roger Lawson. Surviving are his daughter, Candace Leigh Lawson, of Randlman; sisters, Linda Ingle and boyfriend, Donald Trotter, Glenda York and husband, James, all of Randleman, Brenda Vernon and husband, Ralph, of Asheboro, Janet Rich and husband, Danny, of Randleman; brothers, Roy Lawson and wife, Annette, of Asheboro, Michael Lawson and wife, Deb, of Level Cross; grandchild, Kylie Hayden Pinnix; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home.
