Ralph Pugh

Mr. Joseph Ralph Pugh, 85, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2011, at Pleasant Cross Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Price officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Pugh was born March 2, 1925. He was the son of the late Joseph Harrison Pugh and Carrie Ellen Smith Pugh. Mr. Pugh retired from Acme-McCrary Corp. and was a member of Pleasant Cross Christian Church. Mr. Pugh is survived by his wife, Rachel Pugh, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Friday, January 21, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Hinkle Hospice House.
