Ralph J. Mcdowell

Mr. Ralph Junior McDowell, 66, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Union Community Church Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. McDowell was born April 13, 1946. He was the son of the late Everett Marvin McDowell and Mattie Martha Small McDowell. He had worked for Malt-O-Meal. Mr. McDowell is survived by his wife, Linda McDowell, of the home; daughters, Teresa Lineberry, of Siler City, NC, Tammy Kivett, of Asheboro, NC, Jo Ann Keeter, of Asheboro, NC; sister, Martha Cox, of Cove City, NC; brothers, Vernon McDowell, of Ramseur, NC, Roy McDowell, of Denton, NC, Charles McDowell, of Asheboro, NC; six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
