Rachel A. Johnson

Mrs. Rachel Akins Johnson, 76, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Pugh officiating. A native of Montgomery County, NC, Mrs. Johnson was born July 6, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Lillie Akins. She had worked for Rampon Products. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Alfred Johnson, of the home; daughters, Cheryl Pugh and husband, Larry, of McLeansville, NC, Robin Cox and husband, Les, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan Pugh, Katelyn Pugh, David Cox and Michael Cox.
