Priscilla Steele

Mrs. Priscilla Carolyn Lamb Steele, 66, of Climax, NC, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Steele was born September 18, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Gladys Irene Witcher Lamb and John McCalloe Lamb. She was Baptist and was a Girl Scout Troop leader for 15 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Steele. She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Steele, of Climax, NC; sister, Lori Lea Matthews, of Wilmington, NC; brother, Danny Lamb, of Franklinville, NC, grandchildren, Daniel Palacios, Jr., Veronica Palacios, Nichols Palacios, Cynthia Laughlin, and David Laughlin, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, July 13, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
