Philip R. Ledwell

Mr. Philip Ray Ledwell, 59, of Asheboro, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, as a result of injuries received in an accident. Funeral services will be conducted 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Mr. Ledwell was born October 19, 1955. He had worked for Klaussner Furniture for nearly 35 years. Mr. Ledwell was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean Ledwell and Anthony Ledwell, and grandson, Robbie Ledwell. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Ledwell, of the home; daughter, Amy Ledwell, of Asheboro, NC; son, Chris Ledwell and wife, Reanna, of Banning, CA; mother, Helen L. Lucas, of Asheboro, NC; father, Bill Ledwell, of Asheboro, NC; half-sister, Sue Caviness, half-brother, Richard Ledwell; grandchildren, Danielle Cardenas, James Hogan, Angelo Abrescia, Serena Pena, Philip Pena, Christine Ledwell, Alaina Ledwell, Antrum Ledwell, William Ledwell; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Cardenas, Isabella Cardenas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home.
