An angel was sent home on February 15, 2010. Mr. Peter Joseph Ching, 49, of 1410 First Street, Asheboro, NC, died Monday at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. A Funeral mass will be conducted 12:15 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Asheboro, where he was a member, with Father Christopher Davis officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.. Mr. Ching was a native of Oneida, New York, and was the owner of Superior Paving. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren and was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his Mother in law and Father in law, Bill and Mary Bramer, grandson, Giovanni Carracane, and brother, Joseph Ching. Survivors include his wife, Therese Ching, of the home, daughters, Nicole Hunt and husband, Phillip, of Asheboro, Shannon Ching and husband, Carlos, of Asheboro, Tanya Ching and fiancé, Lencho, of the home; sons, Matthew Ching, Daniel Ching, and Courtney Pratt, Dominic Ching, all of the home; parents, Donald and Patricia Ching, of Westmoreland, NY; sisters, Donna Medlin and husband, Donald Ray, of Asheboro, Anne Marie Storey and husband, Todd, of Frankfort, NY, Patricia Becker and husband, John, of Westmoreland, NY; brothers, Donald Cinque and Shannon Aquaviva, of Utica, NY, James Cinque and wife, Ashley, of Syracuse, NY; fifteen grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bill and Carol Bramer, of Fl, Barb and Elmer Rook, of NY, Mary and Chris Ritzel, of NY; sister-in-law, Lisa Ching, of NY; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
