Pete Vaughan

Wayland Relnard "Pete" Vaughan, 68, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Charles Reeder officiating. A native of Halifax County, NC, Mr. Vaughan was born February 26, 1947. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia May Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan is surived by his wife, Mary Nixon Vaughan of the home; daughter, Tacey Hill and husband, Lee of Asheboro; son, Brian Vaughan and wife, Tammi of Seagrove; sister, Linda Harrison of Roanoke Rapids, NC; brother, Tony Vaughan of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and grandchildren, Jordan Hill, Aaron Vaughan and Darian Vaughan. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
