Peggy Williams

Peggy Ann Spencer Williams, 80, of Seagrove, NC, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Seagrove, NC, with Dr. Russell Brownsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Williams was born November 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Alfred and Annie Manuel Spencer. Mrs. Williams was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and others. She loved taking care of the flowers in her yard. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, having served in many roles. Survivors include her husband, Vance Williams, of the home; daughters, Wanda Trogdon and husband, Boyd, of Asheboro, Pat Kiser and husband, Phillip, of Seagrove, Kathy Marsh and husband, Bobby Ray, of Seagrove; sister, Shurby Cagle, of Ether; brothers, Bill Spencer, of Seagrove, Sam Spencer, of Clemmons; grandchildren, Beth Allen, of Asheboro, Jason Kiser, Justin Kiser, Charity Chriscoe, all of Seagrove, Jordan Kiser, of Winston-Salem, Joel Marsh, of Randleman, Jessica Marsh, of Seagrove, seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams will lay in state from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Seagrove. The family will received friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
