Peggy R. Robbins

Mrs. Peggy Lorene Roberts Robbins, 60, of 1436 Woodale Drive, Asheboro, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Richland Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Chatham County, NC, Mrs. Robbins was born May 12, 1950. She was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Roberts. She was a graduate of Seagrove High School and a member of Richland Baptist Church. She was retired from Energizer Plant #2 after 36 years. Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Roberts. Mrs. Robbins is survived by her husband, Michael J. Robbins, of the home; daughters, Lori A. Robbins, Michelle Lee Robbins Futrell and husband, Mike, all of Asheboro; sisters, Nancy Nichols, of Denton, Cathy Penniger, of Asheboro; nieces, Misty Nichols, April Hernandez, Hannah Smith; great nephew, Christian Benitez; great niece, Erica Hernandez. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
