Peggy Hunt

Peggy Louise Hughes Hunt, 70, of Asheboro, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 28, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Mrs. Hunt was born September 10, 1946, the daughter of the late Walter Hughes and Trella Swaney Hughes Beane. She had retired from Klaussner Furniture. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hunt. Survivors include her daughters, Tina Hunt Martindale and husband, Todd, of Robbins, Tammy Hunt Hughes and husband, Steven, of Denton; sons, Rodney Hunt, of Denton, Tony Presnell, of Asheboro, Randy Presnell and wife, Michelle, of Asheboro; sisters, Linda Feury, of Hopewell, VA, Teresa Swaney and husband, Eugene, of Asheboro, Judy Embler, of Jackson Creek; brothers, Jerry Hughes and wife, Dee, of FL, Timmy Beane and wife, Debbie, of Pisgah, Stevie Beane, of Pisgah; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; step father, Ivey Beane, of Pisgah; special sister-in-law, Kim Baker; special aunt, Inez Burcham; and her loving canine companion, "Benzie", and loving feline companion, "Limpy". The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
