Peggy M. Burrow

Mrs. Peggy Joyce Moody Burrow, 62, of Elizabethton, TN, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Johnson City Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Randolph Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with Rev. Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Burrow was born December 6, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Deleno Harlon Moody and Margaret Annette Victory Moody. She had worked at Asheboro Hosiery and enjoyed being a Grandma. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burrow was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Moody Jarrell. Mrs. Burrow is survived by her husband, Randy K. Burrow, of the home; sons, Stacy Gene Moody, of Mountain City, TN, Randy Keith Burrow, Jr., Kevin Duane Burrow, both of Elizabethton, TN; sisters, Nancy Cox, of Asheboro, NC, Dorothy Wright, of Lexington, NC, Betty Burrow, of Elizabethton, TN; brothers, Paul Moody, of Fayetteville, NC, Charles Moody, of Asheboro, NC, James Moody, of Coleridge, NC; grandchildren, Mandy Moody, Scottie Gross, Josh Holston, Madison Burrow, Christian Tibbs, Emma Burrow, Adrian Burrow, and Jacob Burrow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Bonnie Coltrane, 3028 Burney Road, Asheboro, NC. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the staff of the office of Dr. Lamb.
