Pearl Mcdowell

Rosa Pearl Ferguson McDowell, 74, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at South Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. McDowell was born October 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Lacy and Rosa Richardson Ferguson. She was retired from Cross Road Retirement Community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Lineberry and husband, Mickey of Siler City, Tammy Kivett and husband, Tony of Asheboro, Joann Keeter and husband, Marc of Denton; sisters, Dorothy Miller and Grace Gunter, both of Randleman; brother, Leroy Ferguson of Asheboro; grandchildren, Megan Lineberry, Michael Lineberry, Tayla Staley and husband, Alex, Trey Kivett, Autumn Keeter and Mattie Keeter; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Staley. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joann and Marc Keeter.
