Pauline Reaves

Mrs. Pauline Talbert Wiseman Reaves, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elaine Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Robbins. A native of Moore County, NC, Mrs. Reaves was born August 11, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Charles Talbert and Cassie Britt Talbert. Pauline was co-founder of W.S.T.S/Patricia Wiseman Ministries. She loved music and sang with her mother and father as a gospel group since she was a child. Later, along with her husband, Walter Reaves and daughter Patricia, they formed "The Preachers Three Gospel Group"�, where they traveled from Oklahoma to North Carolina singing the gospel of Jesus Christ. As my dad said, when introducing the group, "I am ordained, Patricia is ordained, and mama, well she just goes ahead and preaches as the power of God moves her."� Her statement was, "move people and the power of God will set you free."� In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Reaves, and daughter Janice Sutherland. Mrs. Reaves is survived by daughters, Patricia Wiseman, of Asheboro, NC, Shelia Ann Wiseman, of Asheboro, NC, Lisa Hinson and husband, Ronald, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Buck Wiseman and wife, Sue, of Robbins, NC, Anthony Lynn Wiseman, of Asheboro, NC; sister, Mary Catherine Pate, of Carthage, NC; grandchildren, Isaac, Melissa, Sharon, Timmy, Angel, George, Amanda, Jerry, Makayla, Tommy, Derinda, Christina; and great grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Collin, Makenna, McKenzie, Bryce, Lindy, Mariah, Caleb, Lily, Jaxson, Bryson, Dakota, Greyson, and Nevaeh. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, December 21, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at Franklin Village Clubhouse, 2307 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC.
