Pauline "Pat" Steele

Pauline Bessie "Pat" Thomas Shelton Steele, 82, of Asheboro, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Seagrove with Travis Nichols officiating. Born August 12, 1935 in Randolph County, Mrs. Steele was the daughter of the late Marvin and Nancy Taylor Thomas. She worked at Bossong Hosiery Mill and made cakes for Baskin-Robbins. She had a great dry sense of humor and was loved by everyone. Mrs. Steele was a obedient and dedicated follower of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her husband, Cormosie Steele of the home; daughters, Barbara Shelton Bruster (Joe) of Winston-Salem, Janet Shelton (Dana Boothe) of Asheboro, Donna Morris (Scott) of Pilot Mountain; son, Jimmy Shelton of Asheboro; sister, Tansie Purdy of Mayodan; brothers, Darrell Thomas (Elaine) of Stokesdale, Joe Thomas (Wanda) of Kernersville; grandchildren, Greg Bottoms, J.J. Shelton (Christy), Joshua Shelton (Kisha), Catherine Shelton, Rebekka Maness(Adrian), Kevin Symes (Diana Craig), Shae McGill, John McGill, Kristi King; and great-grandchildren, Branson Elberson, Joseph Shelton, Kayla Ledbetter, Aniyah Siler, Shiann Shelton, Justice Clark, Nicole Clark, Noah Jennings, Bryant McCloud, Kristofer Shelton, and Mason King.
