Mrs. Pauline Brim Cox, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Green officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Cox was born June 24, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Raleigh and Thelma Shoffner Brim. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Worth Cox, her son, Gary Lee Cox, and her grandson, Casey Nolan Cox. Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughters, Judy Pasour and husband, Tony, Sheila Jordan and husband, Jimmy, all of Asheboro, NC; son, Ricky Nolan Cox and wife, Joan , of Asheboro, NC; sister, Kathleen McDuffie, of Ramseur, NC; brother, Rudy Brim, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Jeff Pasour and wife, Mandy, Emily Cox, Hannah Cox, Megan Richardson, Ryan Cox; great grandchildren, Ey'mya Cheek, Garrison Cheek, Dixie Richardson and Daisy Richardson. Memorials may be made to The Randolph Hospice House, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive #999, Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends at the home of Ricky and Joan Cox. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the Randolph Hospice House for their wonderful care of Mrs. Cox.
