Paula P. M. Marshall

Mrs. Paula Peoples McSwain "Paula Dean" Marshall, 50, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Crestview Wesleyan Church, where she was a member, with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. A native of Chatham County, NC, Mrs. Marshall was born December 7, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Paul Hugh McSwain and Tillet Peoples Siler McSwain. She had received an Associate Degree in Computer Information Technology and enjoyed spending time at Randolph Community College. She loved praising God and loved getting up early doing her devotions. She was a "people person" who loved people, animals and her cats, "Sunshine" and "Duchess", cooking and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Marshall. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her daughters, Ivy McSwain, Saconia "C. J." McSwain, both of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Paulette McSwain, of High Point, NC, Patricia McSwain, of Siler City, NC; brothers, Gregory McSwain, of Siler City, NC, Anthony McSwain, of Raleigh, NC, Larry Siler, of Snow Camp, NC. The family will receive friends at the church.
