Paul E. Martin

Mr. Paul Edward Martin, 59, of Liberty, 27, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Looney officiating. A native of Chatham County, NC, Mr. Martin was born October 29, 1951. He was the son of the late Elmer Edward Martin and Maudie Brower Martin. He was a dairy famer and enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his brother, Lando Castevens. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Barbara Martin, of the home; daughters, Julie Martin, Jennifer Martinez and husband, Jose', Kathy Carlton, Sandra Carlton and fiancée, Jose Bonilla; brother, Morgan Castevens and wife, Mary; sisters, Jenny Hayes and husband, Jack, Hazel Johnson, Kathleen White and husband, Jerry; Marie Martin, Ethlene DiGregorio; nine grandchildren and granddaughter-in-law, Reanna Bartshe, and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
