Paul Reece Hinshaw

On Saturday, February 8, 2020, Paul Reece Hinshaw, 85, of Asheboro, went home to be with the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, with Rev. Todd Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the meeting cemetery. Paul was born on October 16, 1934, in Randolph Co. to the late Carl Cyrus Hinshaw and Hazel Janette Stout Hinshaw. He retired from Energizer after 37 years. He excelled at woodworking, and he enjoyed shooting and deer hunting, and took pride in his garden. Paul never met a stranger as conversation was his gift. A very simple and humble man, he leaves a Christian legacy for all to remember. Surviving are his wife, Gladys S. Hinshaw; sons, Randall Reece Hinshaw and wife Connie of Weaverville, NC, and Kendall Paul Hinshaw and wife Debra, of Denton, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020, prior to the service at the meeting.
