Paul Grant Chriscoe, 73, of Thomasville, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Stephen Ashby and Preacher Darrell Cartrette officiating. The burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Born in Randolph County, NC, on July 28, 1950, Mr. Chriscoe was the son of the late Grant and Bertha Williamson Chrisco. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church where served as a Sunday school teacher. He loved reading and studying God's word, and spending time with his family and his church family.
Mr. Chriscoe was a retired owner and operator of Archdale Thomasville Locksmith. He was a lifelong Ford man, and enjoyed bird watching and fishing. The most important thing to him was his relationship with the Lord, and his family.
Mr. Chriscoe proudly served in the US Air Force from 1970 - 1978 including during the Vietnam War, and ended his career as a staff sergeant.
In addition to his parents Mr. Chriscoe was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Chrisco, Frankie Chrisco, Hubert Chrisco, Glenn Chrisco; sisters, Emily Needham, and Wanda Chrisco.
Survivors include his wife, Tamara Chriscoe of the home; daughter, Denise Rollins (William) of Ramseur; son, Paul Chriscoe, Jr., (Monica) of Seagrove; stepson, Forrest Gobble of Thomasville; sisters, Phyllis Davis (Gilbert) of Robbins, Sherry Brady (Russell) of Ramseur; brothers-in-law, Dale Needham of Ramseur, Richard Moore (Sandra) of Thomasville, Shane Moore (Missy) of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Katherine Chriscoe of Ramseur, Paige Strucinski (Osirus) of Randleman, Madeline Rollins of Ramseur, David Chriscoe of Seagrove, Savannah Chriscoe of Seagrove, Mason Chriscoe of Seagrove; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service, and other times at the family home place, 2655 Brower Mill Road, Seagrove, NC.
