Patricia W. Allen

Mrs. Patricia Wilbourne Allen, 76, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Oakhurst Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Mecklenburg County, VA, Mrs. Allen was born April 12, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Jasper Chase Wilbourne and Grace Kearns Wilbourne. She was retired from G.E., a former member of National Secretaries Association, and member of Pine Cone Garden Club. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Lester Floyd Allen, of the home; daughter, Mitzi Allen Oldham and husband, Rodney, of Asheboro, NC; twin sister, Phyllis W. Pugh, of Randleman, NC; sister, Betty W. Adcox, of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Shayna Oldham; great granddaughter, Grace McClelland, nephews, Shane Adcox, Heath Adcox; nieces, Rodena A. Clark, Stephanie W. Pugh; sister-in-law, Mearlene A. Freeman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
