Pamela Siler

Pamela Yvette Cassidy Siler, 56, of Asheboro, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018, at Connected Bridges Outreach Center, Asheboro, with Bishop J. Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A native of Randolph Co, NC, Mrs. Siler was born June 18, 1962, the daughter of the late Winfred Cassidy and Brenda Covington Thomas. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a CNA and had worked for Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home for 18 years. She continued taking care of her clients at Gentle Touch Home Care. She was rewarded from Governor Mike Easley with a plaque for Outstanding Nurses Assistant. She is survived by her husband, Terry Siler, of the home; sons, Travis Cassidy (Shantina Thomas), Terry Garland Cassidy; sisters, Vicky Covington, Wanda Ferree, Sharon Steele; brothers, James Covington, Johnny Covington (Gertrude Covington), Glenwood Cassidy (Melissa Cassidy); seven grandchildren; aunts and uncles, Mary Frances Williams (Bishop J. Harold Williams), Jeanette Covington, Colleen Covington, Sonny Covington, Ronald Covington (Norma Jean Covington); and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018., at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, and other times at the home.
