Norman K. Denny

Norman K. Denny, 72, of Sophia, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Born March 21, 1943, Mr. Denny was born in Macon County. He was retired from Hughes Furniture. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Denny and his daughter, Kelly Denny Henderson. Survivors include his mother, Lexie Denny of Asheboro; three sisters, Wanda Harris of Greensboro, Anna Lee Roney of Sophia, Charlotte Willard of Randleman; four brothers, Reginald Denny of Randleman, Ralph Denny of Winston-Salem, Mitchell Denny of Sophia, Jeffrey Denny of Randleman; grandson, Jonathan Henderson and great-granddaughter, Kelly Ann Henderson. The family will receive friends from 2:00 -3:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
